:xRecovery is an optional SSProtect component that allows you to access cloud-stored files managed by :Recover. You can request an Archive with files from a single User, or you can request an Archive with files from all Users. These can include every stored Version of each file, or only the latest version. For more information, refer to the articles, The Cloud Archive and/ or Abbreviated Procedures for :xRecovery.
Connecting to an :xRecovery Archive
After you start Azure Storage Explorer, choose the Add Account icon from the row at the top left, as shown in the following cutout:
After you click this icon, you will be presented with Connect to Azure Storage. Selected the 2nd radio control, Use a shared access signature (SAS) URI or connection string:
Choose Next and you will be presented with, Attach using SAS:
Notice in this case the error that the resource already exists. Return to the Explorer and navigate to the target, then right-click and choose Detach before proceeding. This will enable the Connect button which then takes you to the Summary:
Choose Connect to make the connection.
Downloading Archive Files
When you Connect, Storage Explorer will create the resource entry in the tree control at the left and automatically navigate to its' resources, showing you with the files that make up your Archive.
Cached Page Items
Most Archive File Lists won't fit on a single page. At the bottom of the display, you will see page numbers indicating additional pages with more files, and controls that allow you to page through them:
Select the Load more link and navigate to the end of the list. This loads pages into the Cache, at which point you can then choose Select All/ Select All Cached from the command icons at the top:
Once you have all files selected, choose Download at the top left, then navigate to your target location to acquire the Archive. When the status at the bottom of the page shows completion, choose Delete to remove the Archive's content from cloud storage.
Note that this procedure must be completed within 1 hour from the time at which you chose Get Keys from the :xRecovery Panel.
